Mugo Pine
(Pinus mugo)
Features: This is a very hardy, durable evergreen with dense bright green foliage.
It can be easily maintained in a compact form
by yearly trimming of the new foliage produced while growth is in the ‘candle stage’. If it is trimmed yearly it can be kept at 4 ft by 4 ft. If never trimmed it can reach 10 ft tall and
spread 8 ft. wide.
