Features: This tree is native to the Qu’Appelle Valley. It has fiddle-shaped leathery leaves, huge rough-capped fruits that resemble acorns covered in moss, and deeply ridged bark. Upright growth of its youth and middle age gives way to a broad spreading canopy at maturity.
