 Features:  This is a thicket forming shrub that grows quickly.  It has small white flowers that are followed by small white fruit.  In the fall its foliage turns from green to purple.  Red stems provide a nice contrast to winter snow.  This rugged plant will grow in swampy conditions and will thrive in sun or shade.  It is good cover for birds and wildlife.
