Magic Carpet Spirea

(Spiraea japonica ‘Magic Carpet’)

 Features:  Fresh growth begins with red tips in the spring, shifting in late spring and summer to rich red-tipped chartreuse foliage which holds its colour into fall.  Cherry pink flowers develop in mid-June and last through most of the summer.  This quick growing and compact spirea packs a lot of colour and life into a small space. If required, prune early in spring before plant leafs out.
