Description
Arrowhead Schubert Cherry
(Prunus virginiana ‘Schubert’)
Features: This is a dwarfing clone of Schubert with dark purple leaves. It grows at one third the rate of `Bailey`s Select` and is less susceptible to black knot fungus. Showy chains of fragrant white flowers hang below the branches in mid spring followed by plentiful black fruits. Foliage emerges green but changes to deep purple by mid-June.
