Description
Features: This fast growing birch is attractive year round. Light green foliage turns yellow in the fall. Losing its leaves for winter shows off its colourful, peeling bark, thin graceful branches and hanging cone-like fruit. Highlight its white trunk by planting against a dark background. It thrives in moist sandy or rocky subsoils. Prune only after leaves are fully open in June to prevent sap bleeding.
